Two red passenger cabins with large windows and a capacity for 80 people take you from the base station on the beach in Kemer up to the mountain station on the peak of Mount Olympos. Immediately after departure, you can admire the city of Kemer and the surrounding sea. As the cable car goes higher, more fascinating sights become visible. These include the beach of Olympos and the ancient ruins of Phaselis. You can admire the charming landscape and mountain ranges, and from time to time you can even spot birds fluttering around. After a 10-minute journey full of picturesque views, you finally reach Mount Olympos.

Mount Olympos (Tahtalı Dağı) With an altitude of 2,364 meters, Antalya's local mountain in an idyllic location right by the sea is the second highest mountain in Olympos Beydağları National Park. When you reach the mountain station on top, you will be rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view. The observation deck on the roof of the mountain station is one of the most impressive viewpoints in the region. On a clear day, you can even see Antalya, 50 km away, and enjoy a distant view of the mountains, the coast, and the Mediterranean Sea.


Attractions & Activities on the Mountain

In addition to breathtaking views and fresh air, Mount Olympos offers exciting activities. There are different climbing and hiking trails that lead to remarkable landscapes. However, the absolute highlight is the paragliding station on the mountain. A tandem paragliding flight will create unforgettable moments. Flights are offered daily from May through October. If you are interested you need to book in advance. A bungee catapult on the top of the mountain also provides a huge adrenaline rush. If you are brave, after advance registration, you can be catapulted into the sky during this unique bungee experience. If you like quieter experiences, you can relax and linger in a beautiful natural setting. You can take a walk to explore the mountain or even have a picnic. There is also a mountain restaurant and café, where you can enjoy delicacies and refreshments.
